Naidu calls on YSRCP MPs to resign in order for Special Category Status (SCS) to be implemented.

On Sunday, TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu campaigned in Rapur, near Venkatagiri, in Nellore district.

It was disappointing that the YSRCP failed to bring SCS to the state for 15 years, despite Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s promise in Tirupati. He also accused the government of abandoning its election pledge to phase out prohibition.

“If elected, the three TDP MPs and TDP candidate Panabaka Lakshmi are ready to put in their papers for the State’s cause,” he said during a series of meetings in the Venkatagiri Assembly section of the Tirupati Lok Sabha constituency in Nellore district.
