With the continuous increase in COVID diseases, the number of deaths in Andhra Pradesh is also on the rise. COVID-19 claimed the lives of 18 people in the last 24 hours, the highest single-day death toll since October. So far this month, 122 people have died from COVID.
About 4,000 new infections have been identified by the state. With the addition of 4,157 additional illnesses, the total number of infections reached 9,37,049, and the death rate reached 7,339.
The total number of recoveries has surpassed the nine-lakh mark, reaching 9,01,327, with 1,606 patients recovering in the last day. There were 28,383 active cases in the state as of Wednesday morning.
